Job Summary:

The Medical Assistant (CMA/MA) provides clinical and administrative support within the healthcare clinic, ensuring smooth patient flow and assisting providers with various patient care tasks. They collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver personalized, efficient, and supportive care across diverse patient populations.

Responsibilities:

• Manage patient flow by performing rooming processes and ensuring timely patient care.
• Assist providers with clinical procedures, including administering immunizations, injections, and specimen collection.
• Perform laboratory tasks such as specimen collection and processing.
• Communicate effectively with patients, answering questions and facilitating appointment and medication-related needs.
• Support clerical duties, including coding, check-in support, and inventory management.
• Document patient interactions and clinical notes in accordance with organizational and regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program or RMA-certified with documented on-the-job experience.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to perform clinical procedures accurately and efficiently.
• Prior experience in a clinical setting preferred.
