Job Summary:
Provide specialized respiratory therapy services to adult and pediatric patients in an inpatient and outpatient setting. Ensure optimal respiratory care through assessments, treatments, and ventilator management, adhering to hospital protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Administer breathing treatments, ABGs, EKGs, and ventilator management for adult and pediatric patients.
• Assist with intubation procedures and respond to respiratory emergencies within the facility.
• Monitor and operate respiratory equipment, including Puritan Bennett 840 and Hamilton C1 ventilators, Bipap v60, and Vapotherm.
• Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to develop and implement patient respiratory care plans.
• Document patient assessments, treatments, and responses accurately in clinical records.
• Provide education and support to patients and families regarding respiratory therapies.

Qualifications:

• Valid and unexpired respiratory therapy license required.
• Minimum of 1 year of inpatient adult ICU or ER respiratory experience.
• Certification in BLS, ACLS, and NBRC-CRT or RRT preferred.
• Experience with vent management, ABGs, and EKGs necessary.
• Willingness to train on pediatric respiratory procedures preferred.
• Ability to assist with intubations and perform ABGs independently.
