Job Summary:
Provides comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Emergency Room setting, ensuring prompt and effective treatment according to established standards. Supervises and collaborates with clinical staff, utilizing critical thinking and clinical judgment to deliver safe and compassionate patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient health status by collecting and analyzing relevant clinical data.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Coordinate treatment and care with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient management.
• Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, and discharge instructions.
• Evaluate patient progress and adjust interventions as necessary to promote recovery.
• Participate in discharge planning and facilitate continuity of care post-episode.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the practicing state.
• Demonstrate at least two years of current experience in an Emergency Room or acute care setting.
• Possess Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Have certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
• Be proficient in using the NIH Stroke Scale.
