Job Details

Job Summary:
Provide specialized emergency nursing care to patients in a Level II trauma center, ensuring timely and effective treatment for a diverse patient population including pediatrics, trauma, STEMI, and stroke cases. Deliver compassionate, high-quality care while adhering to hospital protocols and standards.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions upon arrival and prioritize care based on severity.
• Administer emergency treatments and medications accurately and promptly.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Document patient information and clinical care details using EPIC charting system.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care as needed, maintaining safety standards.
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and post-discharge instructions.

Qualifications:

• Hold a current California RN license.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years of recent emergency room experience in a Level II trauma center or higher.
• Be BLS, ACLS, and PALS certified.
• Have EPIC charting experience.
• Current ENPC and TNCC certifications are preferred.
