Job Summary:
Provides comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Emergency Room setting, ensuring timely and effective treatment according to established protocols. Supervises and collaborates with healthcare team members to deliver safe, compassionate, and efficient care in a high-pressure environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions promptly and accurately to determine priority of care.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient assessments and clinical standards.
• Administer medications and treatments, monitoring patient responses and adjusting care as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians, support staff, and patients’ families to coordinate care and ensure continuity.
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans, health management, and post-discharge care.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to nursing staff, ensuring compliance with hospital policies and protocols.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor.
• Preferably, at least two years of recent experience in emergency or acute care.
• Ability to work efficiently in high-stress, fast-paced environments.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
