Job Summary:
The Cath Lab Tech is responsible for performing diagnostic and interventional procedures in the catheterization laboratory, supporting patient care and ensuring procedural success. This role requires technical proficiency and adherence to safety protocols to deliver high-quality cardiovascular services.

Responsibilities:

• Perform coronary diagnostic and intervention procedures with proficiency in scrub and monitor roles.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure efficient workflow and patient safety.
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures using EPIC electronic health records.
• Adhere to all safety and radiation regulations, including proper badge management.
• Prepare and assist in the setup of sterile fields and necessary equipment.
• Respond to on-call and emergency situations as required, ensuring prompt intervention.

Qualifications:

• Possess a minimum of 2+ years of recent Cath Lab experience.
• Hold active BLS, ACLS, and ARRT or RCIS certifications; SC license (SCRQSA) required.
• Demonstrate proficiency in coronary diagnostic/interventional scrub and monitoring.
• Be registered or in process of obtaining required credentials.
• Have a current radiation badge provided by the agency.
• Exhibit strong communication and teamwork skills.
