Job Summary:
The Cath Lab Tech is responsible for supporting cardiovascular diagnostic and interventional procedures within a hospital setting. They collaborate with medical teams to ensure safe, efficient, and accurate patient care during complex cardiac procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic catheterizations, including coronary interventions, with precision and adherence to protocols.
• Operate and monitor specialized equipment such as monitors and fluoroscopy units throughout procedures.
• Prepare and maintain the sterile field and ensure all supplies are sterile and ready for use.
• Assist physicians with device placement, running diagnostic tests, and documenting procedures accurately.
• Adhere to safety standards, including radiation safety protocols, and maintain compliance with certification requirements.
• Respond promptly to on-call emergencies and support the team during high-pressure procedures.

Qualifications:

• Must have 2+ years of Cath Lab experience in a clinical setting.
• Hold current BLS, ACLS, and ARRT or RCIS certification; SCRQSA license is required.
• Demonstrate proficiency in coronary diagnostics, interventions, and monitoring techniques.
• Possess a valid South Carolina license or demonstrate active application.
• Have completed radiation safety training and possess a radiation badge.
