Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to provide critical respiratory care in a hospital setting. This role involves working night shifts with rotating holidays, ensuring high-quality patient support throughout all hospital areas. The therapist must be adaptable to float within scope to meet facility needs.

Responsibilities:

• Administer respiratory treatments and interventions following physician orders and hospital protocols.
• Monitor patient respiratory status, including oxygen therapy, ventilation, and airway management.
• Document patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress accurately in electronic medical records.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and execute patient care plans.
• Respond promptly to emergent respiratory issues and adjust treatments accordingly.
• Maintain compliance with licensing, certifications, and hospital policies.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active South Carolina Respiratory Care Provider (RCP) license.
• Possess at least 2 years of recent critical care experience.
• Certified as a NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• Maintain current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications.
• Demonstrate ability to float across hospital departments, including labor and delivery.
