Job Summary:
Provide advanced nursing care to patients in the IMC/PCU/Stepdown unit, ensuring continuous monitoring and support for critically stable patients. The role involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, efficient, and compassionate care.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications, treatments, and monitor patient responses per physician orders.
• Perform and interpret EKGs, and manage ventilators like Bipap machines.
• Titrate drips and manage patient conditions within established protocols.
• Document patient care accurately in the EMR system and communicate effectively with team members.
• Observe patient status closely, recognizing early signs of deterioration.
• Adhere to unit dress code and maintain compliance with safety and quality standards.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RN license and at least 1 year of relevant experience.
• Possess ACLS and NIH certifications.
• Demonstrate proficiency in post-cath lab care and drip titrations.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Experience working with Welch Allen VS and Alaris IV pumps preferred.
