Job Summary:
Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the IMC/PCU/Stepdown unit. Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure patient safety and effective treatment.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and assess patients' conditions regularly to identify changes and escalate care as needed.
• Administer cardiac drips, medications, and diagnostic tests in accordance with protocols.
• Document patient care activities accurately in the Meditech system.
• Implement and adhere to unit policies, including telemetry and stroke-specific procedures.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient treatment plans and discharge planning.
• Maintain certification requirements (NIHSS, BLS, ACLS) and stay updated on industry best practices.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with at least 1 year of experience in IMC, PCU, or stepdown units.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Experience with cardiac drips, telemetry, and neurology care.
• Demonstrated competency in stroke and telemetry units.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts and adapt to floating policies as required.
