Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care on a 16-bed Stroke & Brain unit, focusing on neurology and cardiac patient management. Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care within a fast-paced environment, ensuring compliance with unit policies and clinical standards.

Responsibilities:

• Administer cardiac drips, telemetry monitoring, and stroke care to patients.
• Assess patient condition, respond to emergencies, and implement appropriate interventions.
• Document patient care and progress accurately using Meditech electronic system.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and update care plans.
• Maintain certification requirements including NIHSS, ACLS, and BLS.
• Adhere to unit-specific policies, safety protocols, and dress code standards.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with a minimum of 1 year of recent neuro/telemetry experience.
• Certification in NIHSS, ACLS, and BLS required.
• Proven ability to manage cardiac drips and conduct neurological assessments.
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills.
• Experience with telemetry equipment such as Welch Allyn VS machines, Doppler, and bladder scanner.
• Familiarity with Meditech documentation system.
