Job Summary:

Provide occupational therapy assistant services to patients under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist. Ensure patient care plans are implemented effectively to improve functional outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing and executing patient treatment plans based on the occupational therapist’s instructions.
• Implement therapeutic activities aimed at enhancing patients’ daily living skills and functional abilities.
• Monitor patient progress and report observations to the supervising therapist.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient sessions and progress notes.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized therapy environment.
• Support patients emotionally and motivate them throughout their recovery process.

Qualifications:

• Hold an Occupational Therapy Assistant credential or license as required by state regulations.
• Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Demonstrate prior experience or familiarity with pediatric, inpatient, or outpatient therapy settings.
• Be able to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Exhibit flexibility and adaptability to respond to patient needs.
• Maintain current CPR and First Aid certifications.
