Job Summary:
Perform routine screening and diagnostic mammography procedures, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient safety. Collaborate with healthcare teams to support accurate diagnosis and effective patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct screening and diagnostic mammography exams following established protocols.
• Demonstrate proficiency in mammography positioning, compression, and technique adjustments.
• Label radiographic images accurately according to department SOP guidelines.
• Evaluate images for technical quality and ensure timely transmission to PACS.
• Complete all studies within the appropriate electronic systems and record patient data accurately.
• Maintain compliance with MQSA, NY State licensing, and ARRT registration requirements.

Qualifications:

• Possess a valid New York State License in Diagnostic Radiography.
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Demonstrate competency in mammography procedures and positioning.
• Maintain MQSA compliance standards.
• Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
