Job Summary:

Conducts routine screening and diagnostic mammography procedures, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient safety. Plays a key role in image evaluation, documentation, and adherence to departmental standards.

Responsibilities:

• Perform mammography procedures with accuracy and proficiency, including positioning and compression techniques.
• Ensure all radiographic images are properly labeled according to departmental SOP.
• Evaluate images for technical quality and ensure timely transmission to PACS.
• Complete all studies within the designated system, including IDX.
• Accurately document patient tracking information in the tracking system.
• Maintain compliance with all MQSA and state licensing requirements.

Qualifications:

• Possess a New York State License of Diagnostic Radiography.
• Registered with ARRT in Mammography.
• Demonstrate competency in mammography positioning, compression, and technique factors.
• Maintain MQSA standards and departmental protocols.
• Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a clinical setting.
