Job Summary:
Provide patient care support by preparing patients for exams and procedures, assisting healthcare providers, and maintaining clinical accuracy. Ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and operational standards within a fast-paced clinical environment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for exams and procedures, including obtaining vital signs and medical histories.
• Assist physicians with testing, procedures, and specimen collection, processing, and documentation.
• Perform EKGs, administer injections, and support patient mobility and transportation.
• Maintain exam rooms, sterilization standards, and manage supplies and equipment efficiently.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure smooth patient flow and high-quality service.
• Support workflow improvements, train new staff or interns, and assist with pre-certifications as needed.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrate at least 18 months of Medical Assistant experience.
• Possess EPIC Electronic Medical Records system knowledge (highly preferred).
• Show strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills.
• Be highly motivated, dependable, and eager to learn in a fast-paced setting.
• Hold valid credential as a CMA or MA.
• Completed HIPAA and PennChart training prior to start date.
