Job Description

Job Summary:
Provides evidence-based, culturally relevant outpatient behavioral health treatment for individuals experiencing emotional, behavioral, and mental health disorders. The role involves delivering clinical services including individual, group, family, and marital therapy, along with assessments, care coordination, and crisis intervention.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement trauma-informed screening, assessment, diagnosing, and treatment planning to address client needs.
  • Deliver evidence-based therapy across individual, group, and family formats, incorporating mental health and substance use interventions.
  • Develop and review individualized treatment plans, ensuring alignment with client goals.
  • Provide crisis intervention services and coordinate care with multidisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive client support.
  • Document all clinical services accurately and timely within the electronic health record following organizational policies.
  • Support clinical supervision for non-licensed clinicians focused on core functions, including screening, assessment, therapy, and case management.

Qualifications:

  • Hold a Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related discipline from an accredited institution.
  • Possess or obtain licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Professional Counselor (LPC), or Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
  • Demonstrate experience with behavioral health assessments, diagnoses, and treatment planning for patients of all ages.
  • Exhibit knowledge of trauma-informed care, evidence-based practices, and relevant federal and state regulations.
  • Maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Have valid Alaska Driver’s License or be able to obtain within 6 months.
