Job Description
Job Summary:
Provides evidence-based, culturally relevant outpatient behavioral health treatment for individuals experiencing emotional, behavioral, and mental health disorders. Offers individual, group, family, and marital therapy, along with assessments and crisis intervention, supporting patients' recovery and well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct culturally sensitive screening, assessment, diagnosing, and treatment planning for clients.
- Deliver trauma-informed individual, group, and family therapy utilizing evidence-based practices.
- Develop and review personalized treatment plans tailored to the needs of each client.
- Perform crisis intervention services during clinic hours, including rotating after-hours emergency coverage.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of all clinical services within the electronic health record.
- Coordinate care with multidisciplinary team members and community agencies to ensure comprehensive support.
Qualifications:
- Hold a Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Possess or pursue licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
- Demonstrate experience in behavioral health assessment, diagnosis, and treatment across all age groups.
- Possess knowledge of trauma-informed care, mental health, and substance use disorder interventions.
- Maintain valid State of Alaska Driver’s License or obtain within 6 months of hire.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and clinical competency assessment per SEARHC standards.
