Job Summary:
The Clinical Nurse is a registered professional nurse responsible for providing safe, high-quality patient care in an ICU setting. This role involves collaborating with the healthcare team and engaging in continuous professional development to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive patient care utilizing relationship-centered care principles and evidence-based nursing practices.
• Assess patients’ conditions, evaluate care needs, and apply critical thinking to develop effective care plans.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement, monitor, and evaluate individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and families about health management, transition of care, and disease prevention strategies.
• Communicate professionally and effectively with patients, families, and colleagues to ensure seamless care delivery.
• Document nursing activities accurately following institutional, legal, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

• Current NYS RN license with BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years of ICU or critical care nursing experience.
• Strong clinical skills pertinent to ICU patient management.
• Demonstrated ability to work in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
• EPIC electronic medical record experience highly preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred; associate degree considered with relevant experience or ongoing BSN studies.
