Job Summary:
Seeking a highly skilled ICU nurse for a specialized MICU shift. The ideal candidate will have recent EPIC charting experience and hold a valid NY license, providing expert patient care to critically ill patients.

Responsibilities:

• Provide intensive nursing care for patients with complex conditions such as sepsis, ARDS, renal failure, and post-cardiac arrest management.
• Administer advanced procedures including CRRT, EKOS, IABP, ECMO, and Impella support.
• Monitor patient status continuously, adjusting care plans based on clinical changes and acuity.
• Document patient care accurately in EPIC and complete billable modules prior to shift start.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Float to other units as needed, maintaining high standards of care across various ICU settings.

Qualifications:

• Must possess an active NY RN license in hand.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent ICU experience in a critical care setting.
• Strong proficiency with EPIC charting tools.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex patients with multiple organ failures.
• Excellent critical thinking, clinical judgment, and communication skills.
• Ability to work night shifts (4x12 hours) and adhere to travel requirements.
