Job Summary:
The Respiratory Therapist (CRT) will provide specialized care to pediatric, neonatal, and infant patients within the NICU Level 4 and Pediatric Cardiac units. This role involves delivering critical respiratory interventions, ensuring patient safety, and supporting clinical team collaboration.

Responsibilities:

• Administer and monitor ventilator and respiratory therapy treatments to pediatric, neonate, and infant patients.
• Assess patients’ respiratory status and develop care plans aligned with physician directives.
• Maintain and calibrate respiratory equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients’ families on respiratory treatments and post-discharge care requirements.
• Document all interventions accurately within electronic medical records.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid CRT certification and current South Carolina RRT license.
• Demonstrate at least 2 years of experience in pediatric, neonatal, and infant respiratory therapy.
• Possess BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications.
• Have experience working with Epic electronic health records preferred.
• Ability to work a 3x12 day shift schedule, including holiday rotation.
• Show competence in working within a Level 4 NICU and Pediatric Cardiac units.
