Job Summary:
The OR RN will provide specialized perioperative nursing care in the operating room setting, supporting surgical teams during a variety of procedures. The role involves ensuring patient safety and assisting with surgical instrumentation and protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and prepare the operating room for scheduled surgeries.
• Assist surgeons and surgical staff by handing sterile instruments and supplies.
• Monitor patient vital signs and overall condition throughout surgery.
• Maintain strict adherence to sterilization and infection control protocols.
• Document all procedures and patient responses accurately in medical records.
• Respond promptly and effectively to intraoperative emergencies or complications.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license in the state of employment.
• Possess at least 2 years of clinical OR experience preferred.
• Demonstrate proficiency in multiple surgical specialties such as general, orthopedics, OB, ENT, and podiatry.
• Maintain current ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Have excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Be able to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
