Job Summary:
Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures in the operating room setting. Ensure patient safety, assist surgical teams, and maintain sterile environments throughout procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients pre-operatively to determine their medical history and readiness for surgery.
• Prepare the operating room by ensuring all necessary surgical equipment and supplies are sterile and available.
• Assist surgeons and anesthesia providers during surgical procedures, maintaining sterile techniques.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to any intraoperative emergencies promptly.
• Document all patient care activities and surgical events accurately in the electronic medical record.
• Adhere to facility policies, safety protocols, and infection control standards.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with current, unrestricted certification.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in an OR or perioperative setting.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, sterilization, and patient safety protocols.
• Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
