Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Medical Surgical/Telemetry Nurse for a long-term acute care (LTAC) unit. The role involves providing specialized nursing care to adult patients with complex health conditions, including neuro and cardiac issues, in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Responsibilities:

• Administer targeted patient care, monitoring neurological and cardiovascular status, and documenting findings accurately.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Respond promptly to patient emergencies, utilizing advanced skills in BLS, ACLS, and NIH protocols.
• Maintain compliance with all safety and documentation standards, including EMR documentation in EPIC.
• Support weekends and after-hours coverage through rotating on-call duties.
• Ensure adherence to hospital policies, infection control guidelines, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with at least 1 year of recent adult ICU or Telemetry experience.
• Minimum 2 years of MS/Tele experience within a hospital setting.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications required.
• Demonstrated neuro experience preferred, with proficiency in managing neurological patients.
• Ability to work 36 or 48-hour shifts, with night shift availability.
• Must reside over 100 miles from Prisma facilities unless exceptions apply.
