Job Summary:
Assist licensed occupational therapists in providing rehabilitative services to patients in a skilled nursing facility. Support patient recovery and promote independence through therapeutic activities and interventions.

Responsibilities:

• Implement treatment plans designed by occupational therapists to improve patient function.
• Assist patients with exercises and activities to enhance their motor, cognitive, and daily living skills.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and therapy sessions.
• Support the therapy team in preparing and organizing treatment areas and equipment.
• Observe and report patient responses and progress during therapy sessions.

Qualifications:

• Current certification or license as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA).
• Proven experience working in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting.
• Strong understanding of therapeutic techniques and patient care protocols.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
