Job Summary:
Provides high-quality, coordinated emergency nursing care for patients in a fast-paced environment. Supervises and collaborates with nursing staff and interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, effective patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and collect relevant patient health data to inform diagnosis and care planning.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans aimed at achieving optimal patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to coordinate care and ensure safety.
• Delegate tasks appropriately to nursing team members and supervise their performance.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatment options, and discharge instructions.
• Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care and optimal recovery.

Qualifications:

• Current state of practice registered nurse (RN) license.
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor.
• AHA-ACLS and ARC-ALS certifications required.
• AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS certifications required.
• Minimum of two years of recent emergency nursing experience preferred.
• Proficiency in EPIC electronic health record system preferred.
