Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist for a seasonal travel assignment in a busy adult ICU. The role requires providing advanced respiratory care and ventilator management to patients in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Administer and monitor respiratory therapy treatments and procedures in accordance with physician orders.
• Manage airway and ventilator systems, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
• Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team, including nurses and providers, to coordinate patient care.
• Maintain accurate documentation using Meditech electronic medical records.
• Respond promptly to emergency situations, providing critical care support as needed.

Qualifications:

• Must have at least 6 months current RRT experience in a critical care setting.
• Require BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications.
• Prefer candidates with prior Meditech experience and critical care background, especially in adult ICU or neonatal/pediatric units.
• Demonstrate strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach.
• Possess necessary ventilator management and airway management skills.
