Job Summary:

Seeking a Med/Surg Tele FLOAT POOL RN to provide patient care on a rotating shift schedule. The role involves floating to various units and ensuring quality healthcare delivery during a 13 to 20-week coverage period.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in medical-surgical and telehealth units.
• Float between designated units, including ED, to adapt to operational needs.
• Administer medications, monitor patient vital signs, and respond to medical emergencies.
• Document patient assessments and interventions accurately in electronic health records.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Comply with hospital policies, including holiday coverage and certification requirements.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active Ohio or compact state nursing license at the time of application.
• Possess at least 18 months of recent PERMANENT MS/Tele experience.
• Demonstrate 18 months of combined permanent or recent travel nursing experience in the specialty.
• Certification in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required and must be current.
• Successfully pass ECG rhythm recognition and SafeMedicate assessments during orientation.
• Be willing to work every other holiday shift.
