Job Summary:
Provide comprehensive care to medical-surgical patients in a fast-paced hospital setting, ensuring optimal patient outcomes through skilled nursing practices. This role involves assessing, planning, and implementing care plans while adhering to established protocols and standards.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and facility policies.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, including vital signs, symptoms, and responses to treatments.
• Document patient care accurately and thoroughly in electronic health records.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and modify individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatments, and discharge instructions.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, including certifications such as BLS and ACLS.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Ohio license or compact license in hand at time of submission.
• Possess a minimum of 18 months of permanent medical-surgical telemetry nursing experience.
• Be actively certified in BLS and ACLS before start date.
• Demonstrate ability to recognize ECG rhythms and respond appropriately.
• Successfully pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation.
• Be able to complete background checks and drug screens as required.
