Job Summary:

Provides occupational therapy services to patients to improve their physical, social, and mental functioning. Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at restoring patient independence and well-being.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patient needs and establish treatment goals.
• Develop and implement personalized therapy plans utilizing appropriate clinical techniques and tools.
• Provide therapeutic interventions aligned with established protocols to facilitate patient recovery.
• Coordinate discharge plans and communicate treatment progress to all relevant parties.
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in accordance with departmental standards.
• Supervise and mentor assigned occupational therapy assistants as applicable.

Qualifications:

• Hold a Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD).
• Possess current state licensure to practice occupational therapy.
• Maintain valid BLS certification from an approved provider.
• Demonstrate a minimum of one year of recent acute care experience, including ICU exposure.
• Have at least two years of relevant occupational therapy experience preferred.
• Show familiarity with inpatient treatment protocols and interdisciplinary collaboration.
