Job Summary:
Seeking a Sterile Processing Tech to support onsite operations in a mobile SPD trailer at Memorial Medical Center. This role involves maintaining sterile processing standards, ensuring surgical instrument sterilization, and supporting surgical teams' needs.

Responsibilities:

• Operate sterilization equipment in accordance with hospital protocols and safety standards.
• Prepare, sterilize, and distribute surgical instruments and supplies.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure timely availability of sterile instruments.
• Document sterilization processes and maintain accurate records for compliance.
• Follow established guidelines and policies to maintain a sterile environment.
• Assist in inventory management and supply stocking within the sterilization area.

Qualifications:

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Hold at least 1 year of experience in sterile processing.
• Maintain valid CA State Licensure as a Sterile Processing Tech.
• Be certified by AHA or ARC with active certification dates.
• Demonstrate knowledge of sterilization techniques, instruments, and safety procedures.
• Have reliable references from recent employment within the past year.
