Job Summary:
A Sterile Processing Technician is responsible for sterilizing, assembling, and distributing surgical instruments and equipment to ensure infection control standards are met. This role involves working in a mobile SPD trailer onsite at a medical center, supporting hospital surgical services.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, sterilize, and assemble surgical instruments following proper protocols.
• Maintain accurate documentation of sterilization cycles and equipment logs.
• Operate sterilization machinery and troubleshoot equipment issues as needed.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure timely delivery of sterile supplies.
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and compliance standards.

Qualifications:

• Possess a minimum of 1 year of sterile processing experience.
• Hold a diploma or certification in sterile processing or related field.
• Maintain valid AHA or ARC certifications with current expiration dates.
• Be licensed or certified according to state requirements (e.g., CA licensure).
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
• Provide recent references and verifications to support work history.
