Job Summary:
Seeking a Sterile Processing Tech to support onsite operations in a mobile SPD trailer at Memorial Medical Center. The role involves preparing and sterilizing surgical instruments, ensuring compliance with all safety and cleanliness standards, and supporting clinical teams effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Clean, disinfect, and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment according to facility protocols.
• Maintain accurate documentation of sterilization cycles and equipment handling.
• Operate and troubleshoot sterilization machinery to ensure optimal performance.
• Adhere to infection control standards and safety guidelines throughout all tasks.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure timely delivery of sterilized instruments for surgeries.
• Complete required compliance modules and documentation within designated timeframes.

Qualifications:

• Possess a valid CA State License as an RN or relevant certification.
• Have at least 2 years of experience working in sterile processing or related settings.
• Hold current certifications from AHA or ARC with valid expiration dates.
• Demonstrate knowledge of sterilization techniques and infection control protocols.
• Upload active, verifiable certifications and licensure documentation.
• Be able to work night shifts (10:00 PM – 6:30 AM) on a Saturday to Wednesday schedule.
