Job Summary:
Seeking a compassionate and skilled Med/Surg Tele RN to provide high-quality patient care on a temporary basis. This role involves supporting multiple units and ensuring patient safety in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and monitor patient vitals in accordance with care plans.
• Perform patient assessments and document findings accurately.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care strategies.
• Recognize and respond to abnormal ECG rhythms and initiate appropriate interventions.
• Complete necessary assessments, including ECG rhythm recognition tests and safeMedicate requirements, during orientation.
• Work at least every other holiday to ensure continuous patient coverage.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active Ohio license or a compact state license in hand at the time of submission.
• Possess a minimum of 18 months of recent, combined permanent experience in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry nursing.
• Have current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS, all active and in hand at submission.
• Demonstrate proficiency in ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments.
• Be able to work rotating day and night shifts, including 12-hour shifts from 7:00 to 19:30 or 19:00 to 7:30.
• Provide a reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director within the past 12 months.
