Job Summary:

Provide critical Med/Surg Telemetry nursing care to adult patients. Deliver safe, efficient, and compassionate patient services in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patient conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Monitor patients' cardiac rhythms and respond to arrhythmias appropriately.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders.
• Document patient progress, interventions, and outcomes accurately.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
• Adhere to all facility policies, safety standards, and compliance requirements.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Ohio or compact state nursing license at the time of submission.
• Possess at least 18 months of recent, full-time Med/Surg Telemetry experience.
• Demonstrate ability to recognize ECG rhythms and respond appropriately.
• Complete ECG rhythm recognition and SafeMedicate assessments successfully.
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications are required; NIHSS certification must be obtained prior to start.
• Provide a recent reference from a manager, supervisor, or director within the last 12 months in the specialty.
