Job Summary:
Assist in surgical procedures within a hospital setting, ensuring sterile techniques and proper operation of surgical equipment. Provide support to surgical teams in both inpatient and outpatient environments, with flexibility to float between units as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain sterile fields for surgical procedures.
• Operate and troubleshoot surgical equipment, including Da Vinci XI robotic system.
• Assist surgeons by passing instruments and managing surgical tools.
• Support postoperative procedures such as wound care and specimen collection.
• Adapt to floating positions between operating rooms and inpatient units based on staffing needs.
• Maintain compliance with safety and infection control standards throughout procedures.

Qualifications:

• Current certification or license required for surgical tech or related role.
• Proven experience with robotic surgical systems, specifically Da Vinci XI.
• Ability to scrub a variety of surgical procedures, including posterior eye and trauma cases.
• Strong knowledge of sterile techniques and surgical protocols.
• Flexibility to float between different surgical units and adapt to changing schedules.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
