Job Summary:
Seeking a highly skilled Med/Surg Tele RN to provide patient care on a medical-surgical unit with potential to float to related units. This role involves supporting hospital operations through flexible scheduling and adherence to clinical standards during a 20-week winter coverage period.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct patient care for adult medical-surgical and telemedicine populations, ensuring safety and quality standards.
• Assess patient conditions, interpret ECG rhythms, and respond to clinical emergencies as necessary.
• Complete required documentation, medication administration, and patient education during each shift.
• Rotate shifts between night and day as needed, respecting operational demands and traveler preferences.
• Participate in orientation assessments, including ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate evaluations.
• Comply with all travel and facility-specific policies, including background checks and drug screens.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Ohio or compact state nursing license at time of submission.
• Demonstrate 18 months of recent, combined permanent experience in Med/Surg Tele within one or multiple locations.
• Provide verification of active, in-hand certifications including BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
• Show successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety assessments during orientation.
• Be willing to work at least every other holiday, adhering to shift schedules.
• Submit a manager/reference from the past 12 months confirming clinical competency.
