Job Summary:

Experienced Medical Surgical Registered Nurse responsible for providing comprehensive patient care across diverse age groups in a dynamic healthcare setting. Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring optimal patient outcomes and safety.

Responsibilities:

• Administer and monitor patient care in accordance with physicians' orders and established nursing protocols.
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare team members to coordinate effective treatment plans.
• Educate patients and their families on health management, discharge instructions, and disease prevention.
• Delegate appropriate tasks to nursing support staff based on their competencies and scope of practice.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in medical records.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Demonstrate prior experience in an acute care or medical-surgical setting.
• Maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; ACLS preferred.
• Show evidence of competency in dysrhythmia management and IV sedation procedures.
• Be willing to complete necessary certifications such as Critical Care Course, Neonatal Resuscitation, and Fetal Monitoring as required.
