Job Summary:


Seeking experienced RN - Labor and Delivery nurses to provide exceptional care in a high-volume Maternal Infant Unit. These travel positions offer the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment dedicated to maternal and neonatal health.



Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive maternity and neonatal nursing care to labor and postpartum patients.
  
• Monitor fetal heart rates using GE fetal monitors and manage obstetric emergencies as needed.
  
• Assist with vaginal deliveries, C-sections, and antepartum procedures.
  
• Educate patients and families on postpartum care, newborn care, and breastfeeding support.
  
• Document patient assessments, procedures, and progress accurately in the EMR system.
  
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes.
  
  
  
  Qualifications:
  
• Hold an active RN license with at least 2 years of labor and delivery experience.
  
• Possess current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Fetal Monitoring certifications.
  
• Demonstrate experience in a high-volume LDRP environment preferred.
  
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and weekends on a rotating schedule.
  
• Exhibit strong clinical skills in obstetric and neonatal patient care.
