Job Summary:
Provide specialized labor and delivery nursing care to obstetric patients and newborns. Collaborate with medical teams to ensure safe and efficient childbirth experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and monitor laboring patients, responding to their needs promptly.
• Assist in vaginal deliveries, C-sections, and antepartum procedures.
• Administer medications, including sedation and pain management, as prescribed.
• Educate patients and families on postpartum care and newborn needs.
• Maintain accurate documentation within the EMR system.
• Ensure compliance with hospital safety standards and certification requirements.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid registered nurse (RN) license with active certification.
• Possess at least 2 years of labor and delivery experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency in fetal monitoring and obstetric procedures.
• Maintain current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Fetal Monitoring certifications.
• Show ability to work effectively in high-volume LDRP environments.
