Job Summary:

The TRAVEL - RN LABOR DELIVERY role provides compassionate, evidence-based nursing care for patients across LDRP settings, supporting labor progression through delivery and postpartum needs. This position requires strong assessment, fetal monitoring support, and coordination during high-acuity moments.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver LDRP nursing care for laboring patients using continuous assessment and timely escalation
• Monitor fetal status using prescribed fetal monitoring practices and respond to changes promptly
• Assist with labor interventions and support procedures including inductions, C/S, and SVD as assigned
• Administer and monitor medications and therapies including epidural PCA using appropriate infusion equipment
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to maintain safe workflow and effective patient care communication
• Document care accurately in Meditech and maintain compliance with unit protocols

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RN license and eligibility for travel assignment
• Possess NRP certification (or obtain per facility requirements)
• Maintain current BLS certification
• Demonstrate at least 2 years of RN experience in Labor and Delivery
• Hold ACLS certification or be prepared to obtain if required
• Show experience or competency with intermediate fetal monitoring practices
