Job Summary:
Provides specialized occupational therapy services to pediatric patients, focusing on evaluating, planning, and implementing treatment plans to improve function and quality of life. Works under the prescription of a licensed physician to help patients regain independence and manage disabilities resulting from injury or illness.

Responsibilities:

• Assess pediatric patients' functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Administer occupational therapy interventions to restore or enhance motor skills, cognitive abilities, and daily living activities.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to ensure treatment effectiveness.
• Educate patients and families on therapeutic exercises and activities to support ongoing progress.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment approaches as necessary.
• Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, treatments, and patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid state license or certification as an Occupational Therapist.
• Demonstrate experience working with pediatric populations.
• Possess strong assessment and treatment planning skills.
• Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Be proficient in documentation and electronic health record systems.
• Maintain current CPR and pediatric-specific certifications.
