Job Summary:
Provide specialized respiratory care to patients in an acute hospital setting, including assessment, treatment, and education. Collaborate with healthcare team members to monitor patient progress and ensure effective respiratory care delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' respiratory status to determine appropriate care plans.
• Administer respiratory treatments and therapies as prescribed by physicians.
• Evaluate patient responses to treatments and adjust care strategies accordingly.
• Educate patients and their families about respiratory health, treatments, and wellness practices.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities and clinical observations.
• Comply with all certification, licensing, and safety standards required for respiratory therapy practice.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid state license as a Respiratory Therapist.
• Possess at least 1 year of experience in an acute hospital environment.
• Demonstrate experience working with infants and pediatric patients.
• Maintain current certifications: NBRC, BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA).
• Credentialed in PALS, ACLS, BLS, and NRP (preferred).
