Job Summary:
Provides specialized critical care nursing to intensive care unit (ICU) patients, ensuring high standards of patient-centered care. Supervises and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive, evidence-based treatments while utilizing advanced nursing skills and clinical judgment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor critically ill patients’ conditions, collecting relevant clinical data.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans aligned with patient needs and clinical protocols.
• Administer medications, perform interventions, and manage life-support equipment effectively.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
• Educate patients and families about their condition, treatment options, and discharge instructions.
• Delegate tasks appropriately to nursing staff and ensure adherence to safety and safety protocols.

Qualifications:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of two years recent ICU experience demonstrating advanced critical care skills.
• BLS certification from an approved vendor; ACLS certification preferred.
• Proficient in the use of EPIC electronic health records system.
• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work night shifts, including 12-hour shifts, as required.
