Job Summary:

Provides advanced nursing care within the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) to critically ill patients. Leads and supervises nursing staff, ensuring high standards of patient care through coordination and clinical expertise.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' health status by collecting relevant data and analyzing assessment information.
• Develop individualized care plans with appropriate interventions to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Implement and coordinate patient care strategies while ensuring safety and quality standards.
• Evaluate patient progress and modify care plans accordingly to meet evolving healthcare needs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, patients, and families to facilitate effective communication and care.
• Educate patients and their families on health management, discharge instructions, and ongoing care needs.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license in the state of practice.
• Possess at least two years of recent experience in an ICU or critical care setting.
• Maintain current BLS certification and ACLS certification from an approved vendor.
• Demonstrate proficiency in EPIC electronic health record systems.
• Exhibit strong critical thinking, clinical judgment, and supervisory skills.
