Job Summary:

Seeking a highly skilled Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse to provide exceptional care for neonatal patients. The role involves working within a specialized 46-bed unit, managing post-operative and complex neonatal cases, and preparing families for discharge.

Responsibilities:

• Administer specialized neonatal care to patients greater than 34 weeks gestation, including post-op and septic workups.
• Monitor and manage patients with central lines, G-tubes, and ostomies, ensuring compliance with clinical protocols.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Document patient assessments, treatments, and progress accurately in the EPIC system.
• Educate and prepare families for discharge and ongoing care needs.
• Float to other NICU or pediatric units as needed, demonstrating competency and adaptability.

Qualifications:

• Valid NICU II license with NICU III experience preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent NICU RN experience.
• Current BLS, NRP, and SC license certifications.
• Proficient in EPIC EMR with at least 1 year of experience.
• Strong clinical skills in managing complex neonatal patients, including G-tubes, central lines, and septic workups.
• Ability to work night shifts (3x12 hours) and comply with travel and floating policies.
