Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care to neonatal patients within a busy NICU setting, ensuring the safety and well-being of premature and ill newborns. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive, family-centered care.

Responsibilities:

• Assess neonatal patients' conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments using Pyxis systems and follow established protocols.
• Monitor patient vital signs, growth, and responses to treatments, documenting accurately in EPIC.
• Perform procedures including G-tube management, ostomy care, and central line maintenance.
• Educate and support families through discharge planning and ongoing care education.
• Float to other NICU or pediatric units as needed, maintaining competence and compliance.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license and relevant state licensure.
• Possess at least 2 years of NICU experience, preferably NICU III.
• Be BLS, NRP, SC, and STABLE certified, with NICU II experience required.
• Demonstrate proficiency in EPIC EMR for at least 1 year.
• Have recent experience caring for neonates >34 weeks, focusing on infants >30 weeks and >1000g.
• Be flexible to work 3x12 night shifts and weekend rotations.
