Job Summary:
Provide expert nursing care to medical-surgical patients in a fast-paced hospital setting. Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver comprehensive patient care and ensure optimal recovery outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
• Monitor patient vital signs and recognize early signs of deterioration.
• Document patient progress accurately in electronic health records.
• Educate patients and families on post-discharge care and health management.
• Float within scope to meet unit needs and support other departments as required.

Qualifications:

• Valid South Carolina RN license or Compact license in hand prior to start.
• Minimum of 2 years of medical-surgical nursing experience preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work 3x12-hour day shifts, including every other weekend.
• BLS certification required; orthopedics/neuro experience preferred.
• Willingness to accommodate block schedules and float within scope.
