Job Summary:
Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a Medical-Surgical setting, focusing on orthopedics and neurology specialties. Ensure patient safety, comfort, and effective communication throughout the continuum of care.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient condition and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions following physician orders.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Document patient progress accurately in electronic health records.
• Monitor patient responses and escalate concerns promptly.
• Educate patients and their families on post-discharge care and health management.

Qualifications:

• Valid South Carolina RN license or Compact license in hand prior to start.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Medical-Surgical or similar acute care setting.
• Strong clinical competencies in ortho and neuro patient care preferred.
• Ability to float within scope to meet facility needs.
• BLS certification required prior to start date.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
