Job Summary:
The Medical Surgical Registered Nurse provides comprehensive care to adult patients with a variety of medical conditions. They are responsible for implementing nursing interventions, monitoring patient status, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient health status and document findings accurately.
• Administer medications and treatments following physician orders and hospital protocols.
• Monitor vital signs and respond to changes in patient conditions promptly.
• Educate patients and families on health management and post-discharge care.
• Collaborate with physicians, technicians, and other nurses to develop and implement care plans.
• Maintain compliance with safety standards and infection control protocols.

Qualifications:

• Valid and current Registered Nurse license.
• Proven experience in a Medical Surgical unit or similar setting.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple patient care activities effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• CPR and BLS certification required.
