Job Summary:

Provide specialized speech-language therapy services to pediatric patients in an outpatient setting. Collaborate with families and healthcare teams to develop and implement effective treatment plans.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients’ speech, language, and swallowing abilities to determine needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results.
• Provide therapy sessions to infants, children, and adolescents with autism, birth defects, development delays, and language disorders.
• Document patient progress, assessments, discharge summaries, and evaluations in Wellsky/Epic.
• Educate patients and families on therapy techniques, patient safety signs, and symptom management.
• Comply with billing documentation requirements including assessments, plans of care, and reassessments.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Ohio license or pending license in speech-language pathology.
• Minimum of 1 year of acute care experience; additional unit-specific requirements may apply.
• BLS and CCC-SLP certifications are required.
• Epic charting experience is mandatory.
• Ability to work in pediatric outpatient settings managing diverse patient needs.
